Our 2nd Seminole Heights Airbnb Rental Property is Officially Live! (Photos)

As many of you know we acquired our second Seminole Heights Airbnb rental property in 2019 and have been working hard on it for the last 2 months. Lots of work on the bathroom, design, furniture, paint, landscaping, and much more has been done. So it’s exciting to finally release it to the world of travelers on Airbnb!

We’ve learned A LOT from our first property and on the first day, we booked 6 guests! The most important discovery for us has been to block days even if your not sure you want to host that day. Giving guests 100% every time sounds cliche but it pays off. Reaching superhost status within 3 months of our first Airbnb skyrocketed earnings for the listing. Guest experience investment well made!

The number one question we get from our amazing readers is “what camera did you use for pictures?” given many know pictures make or break a listing. We used an iPhone XS for our new listing with a lighting kit, wide-angle clip-on lense, and basic photo software to brighten images. It doesn’t need to be extremely nice to launch because you can add photos and replace photos as you grow over time. We plan on adding between 5-10 new photos as we add to the Airbnb itself to highlight new features.

These are some of the key pictures we took for Airbnb #2

A lot of time went into making this Airbnb beautiful and guest-ready so coming up with a name was tricky to highlight certain amenities. After a lot of brainstorming and researching local competition, we named the listing “TREEHOUSE IN THE HEIGHTS”

The rationale behind “HEIGHTS” is that this Airbnb property is located in Seminole Heights, Tampa, the hippest neighborhood on the western coast of Florida. With kraft coffee shops, barbershops, rustic warehouse lofts, and artisanal restaurants everywhere it’s an amazing place young travelers are checking out.

The reason for “TREEHOUSE” is off the back of our Airbnb there’s 500 square foot porch with an actual treehouse built off of it. We are working on getting an amazing picture of it to showcase how fun it really is and adding that to the list. This comes full circle with adding pictures as you build up the listing.

This property is two blocks from one of the top-rated breweries in Tampa called Brew Bus and we lead with this for guests as an amenity. It’s called Brew Bus because guests can literally take a tour bus to the top local breweries in Seminole Heights in one night. Its an amazing experience and a great activity for couples.

We have a lot more to add to the pictures including the landscaping Steve has been working on. This includes a 65-foot paved pathway leading to the Airbnb.

Both of us are really excited to have reached our goal of launching the 2nd property in 2020 and there are a lot of exciting things coming so subscribe to our newsletter for updates!

Love,

Scooch and Steve
